Project Objectives:

  1. Create a short cinematic piece showcasing storytelling skills and technical foundations

  2. Deliver a self-contained narrative using virtual production workflows

  3. Execute the project under time constraints as a side production to a larger final project

Project Scope

Role & Tools:

  • Role: VFX, Audio, Postproduction

  • Tools Used: Unreal Engine, Niagara, Mixamo, After Effects · Premiere Pro

  • Context: Academic project, delivered as a timed challenge

Tasks Executed:

  • Simulated rain, lightning, and flying debris using Niagara

  • Built the city environment

  • Directed and animated the intro shot

  • Edited the full sequence including pacing, titles, and visual rhythm

  • Created the full soundscape from scratch, including foley, ambiences, and mixdown

  • Delivered final export with audio sync, music and narrative timing

Target Audience:

Classroom presentation with potential for use in reels showcasing quick-turnaround production under pressure

Results:

A two-minute experimental short crafted in under 48 hours, demonstrating the ability to deliver high-concept storytelling with limited time and resources through efficient use of real-time tools and postproduction workflows.
